IP scanning by using NMAP in Linux

Solution:

There have number of IP scanners are available
nmap
arp-scanner
angry IP scanner

here let we use nmap,
nmap basically  a advance port scanner as well IP scanner

root@boobalan-Aspire-E1-431:~# dpkg -l namp
dpkg-query: no packages found matching namp

//here have no packages for namp
//here i’m installing dependencies for nmap
//after successful up-gradation of OS nmap has been installed successfullyroot@boobalan-Aspire-E1-431:~# apt-get install nmap
